Villierstown Education & Culture Project CLG (VECP) currently operates in the areas of Education and Tourism. The Company operates a preschool in Villierstown – Villierstown Montessori School and also a Social Enterprise – Blackwater Eco Tours.
We find the Blackwater Valley an excellent place in which to operate – while it has all the benefits of a rural location it is also a short distance from major urban population centres. From a Tourism perspective it is a spectacular location and the provision of a pre-school service adds significantly to the overall offering in the area.
We continue to work with many enterprise support organisations (e.g. IDA, EI, WLP, LEO, Dungarvan and West Waterford Chamber of Commerce) to grow and develop. Also, and perhaps uniquely, we work with similar organisations in the area (Cappoquin, Lismore & Tallow) to promote and develop the entire region.
For businesses, we believe that the infrastructure, business environment, supports and availability of a significant talent pool / skill base make it an ideal location. For individuals and families, the area is an excellent place in which to live and raise a family. The power of community is thriving here in the Blackwater Valley and we are very proud to be part of it.
